As head coach Mitch Schmidt (Bellevue, NEB) and his staff consisting of David Robb (Mesa, AZ), Andy Peterson, (OSU, OR) and Joe Sergent (Marlins, Dawgs Academy) are in the midst of fine-tuning the 2018 roster, the Dawgs operations team upgraded and modernized our off the field product by launching an all new website.
The dynamic website design reflects the Dawgs ongoing commitment to enhance opportunities for our players as they work to take the next step into professional or, in the case of the Academy, collegiate baseball, while producing the best possible experience for our fans. Throughout the year, fans, players, and recruits will be able to click a button and find everything they need in the world of Dawgs baseball: the latest player stories, special Dawgs events and features, news updates from around the WMBL, game notes, previews, and recaps. You name it, and it will be a click away on our new website.
In recent years, the Dawgs social media presence has grown exponentially and has given fans a behind the scenes look at their favourite summer collegiate club and nationally recognized youth academy like never before. Fans can now find our Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook feed integrated into our new web page to keep up to date with the latest prizes, videos, and perhaps most importantly, our “Movin’ On Up” feature. It has never been easier to navigate the latest happenings in Dawgs baseball, whether you are watching the live stream or looking to buy tickets.
One of our exciting new features is the ability to shop online for the latest Dawgs products. Skip the lines, find the newest “must have” gear, and add it to your shopping cart for quick and simple shopping. Showing your support for the Dawgs by styling with the latest hats, jerseys, T-shirts or hoodies has never been easier.
“We at the Dawgs are very excited to launch this new, dynamic website,” Managing Director John Ircandia said. “Our old site served us well but the new look reflects the Dawgs commitment to be at the leading edge in all aspects of our operation. Ultimately, our goals never change: first and foremost, give our players, summer collegiate and Academy alike, every possible opportunity to succeed, and secondly, do all we can to create the best possible experience for our phenomenal fans. We believe that this modern new website will enable our fans, players and recruits to not only be aware of our history but keep pace with the evolving story of the Dawgs. Thanks to LessThan3 Inc. and their development team for doing a great job on the new website. And as always, Go Dawgs!”
