Dawgs Legend, David Robb, Earns ABCA Lifetime Membership Award

The American Baseball Coaches Association recently named their recipients for Lifetime Membership Awards for 2021-2022. Dawgs Legend, and Hall of Famer, Dave Robb was awarded this great honour. Dave’s years of dedication for the Dawgs and the game of baseball has led to this prestigious award. 

Dave has coached at numerous levels throughout his many years in baseball. Whether it’s internationally, nationally or locally, Dave has made an impact on many generations of ball players throughout his years in coaching. In 2018, Robb was inducted into the Dawgs Hall of Fame, and has been a fixture for Dawgs teams and the fans over the many years of Dawgs Baseball.

As mentioned on Dave’s recognition of joining the Dawgs Hall of Fame, it states “David has “done it all and done it all very well from the elite youth to collegiate, to professional and the international levels”. A mentor to a generation (or two) of Dawgs players and coaches.  Widely recognized in baseball circles wherever he goes, be that the United States, Canada or Italy, as not only an outstanding coach but a first-class individual, a true gentleman.”

We couldn’t agree more with this statement and are excited to see Dave back on the field again for Dawgs in summer of 2022. Join us and the rest of the Dawgs family in celebrating this tremendous honour for Coach Dave Robb!
