Seaman Stadium
Tonight was absolutely unforgettable as the WCBL All-Star Game rocked Seaman Stadium for what might be the last time in a while! The energy in the air was electrifying, with over 5,000 passionate fans packed in to support the league's finest talents. There were many esteemed guests in attendance, including legends such as Dustin Molleken, Matt Stairs, and Blair Kubicek, among others, making it a truly memorable night.
The excitement kicked off with the thrilling Home Run Derby, where our very own Nash Bash (Tennessee Tech University) showed off his incredible power, launching an impressive 11 bombs and narrowly taking second place in the West. The winner, Matt Rhoades (Butler University), wowed the crowd with a jaw-dropping 13 home runs. What a showdown!
Then came the main event—the All-Star game! With a phenomenal roster featuring 10 standout Dawgs representing the West, the stakes were high. Despite a fierce battle, the East clinched victory as the game was called due to weather. But the highlight was definitely Ethan Menard (University of Texas-Tyler), who snatched the title of 2025 All-Star Game Most Valuable Player. What an achievement!
But the excitement is not over yet! The Dawgs are gearing up to take on the Energy City Cactus Rats tomorrow in an epic away game—hosted right here at Seaman Stadium!
