Dawgs Drop One to the Gulls

The Dawgs drop one on the road tonight to the Sylvan Lake Gulls in a back-and-forth contest between the rivals from the West. From the mound tonight, we saw appearances from 7 different Dawgs pitchers in a full staff effort against a strong Gulls lineup. Including stellar performances from several new additions to the Dawgs' pitching staff.
Offensively tonight for the Dawgs, Leo Cote (University of Portland) was a standout performer as he went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored. Additionally, Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University) kept it business as usual with a clutch 2-run bomb that tied things up in the Top of the 6th while also going 1 for 3 on the evening. Connor Crowson (Tennessee Tech University) also had himself a night at the plate, going 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.
Brady Baltus (Bellevue University) got the start for the Dawgs tonight, going a total of 4.2 innings, allowing only 1 earned run. Following Baltus, we saw appearances from several new Dawgs pitchers, including Reid Madariaga (Seattle University), Garrett White (Bellevue University), Ryan Rembisz (University of Portland), and Evan Lehnert (Linn-Benton Community College).
