The Okotoks Dawgs continued their winning ways in Saskatoon, producing 16 hits to defeat the Saskatoon Berries 10-5 at NextGen Patch at Cairns Field. The Dawgs’ productive night at the plate was backed by another strong performance on the mound, earning their second road victory of the Saskatchewan road trip.
\nJacob Wrubleski (Gonzaga University) powered the Dawgs' offence, going 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in the fourth inning. Landon Kauffman (University of Portland) added three hits of his own, finishing 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, one RBI, and a stolen base. Emmet Stacher (Linn-Benton Community College) was a consistent presence at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two RBIs and one run scored.
\nTyson Willis (George Mason University) led the charge on the mound, pitching 4.2 innings while allowing just two runs and striking out three. Grady Keljo (University of Portland), Ryan Stone (Seattle University) and Korey Alston (West Virginia University) each added a scoreless inning of relief, with Keljo recording two strikeouts and Alston striking out three to close out the game.
