Dawgs Sweep the Bombers

The Dawgs swept the weekend series against the Brooks Bombers this afternoon, placing them at 23-10 on the season and separating them even further from the rest of the West! Tonight's win can be attributed to another phenomenal start from Cameron Williams (McNeese State University, complemented by a dominant Dawgs offence.

Offensively tonight for the Dawgs, Eric Machej (Illinois State University) and Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University) were the difference makers as they both went 2 for 5, scoring 5 runs between the two of them. Aden Munoz (Simpson University) came in late to the game and blasted a 3-run homerun over the right field wall, finishing the day 1 for 1.

On the mound, Cameron Williams (McNeese State University) had another phenomenal start, going 4.0 innings, allowing 0 runs and striking out 3. Williams maintained his immaculate 0.00 ERA. 6 other Dawgs made appearances today, with a notable performance from Anderson Tordiffe (Clackamas Community College), who pitched 1.0 innings and struck out the side.
