The Dawgs win tonight in true walk off fashion courtesy of a quality at bat from Kadyn Williams (Pittsburg State University) to walk in his teammate Jake Skaggs (Pittsburg State University). It was a dramatic night here at Seaman Stadium as we had a rain delay that paused play for over an hour. After returning to play the Dawgs were determined to take the win and found a way to persevere through disciplined at bats and pure grit.

Tonight's win can be accredited to a standout performance on the bump from starter Gavin Wuschke (Bellevue University) who went 6.0 innings only allowing 1 run. Following the rain delay Austin Eaton (Texas State University) took over with a dominant performance for the newcomer. Eaton recorded 5 strikeouts through 3.0 innings of work allowing 0 hits and 0 runs.
