The Dawgs secured the win on Friday May 31, 2024 in their first away game of the season defeating the Brooks Bombers 10-2.

Landon Kauffman (Dawgs Academy) was an offensive leader tonight, going 4-5 with 4 RBIs and crushing a 2 run home-run. Benito Bonilla (Dawgs Academy) also crushed a solo home-run tonight and a hard hit double ending the night with 2 RBIs. Jacob Wrubleski (Chandler Gilbert Community College) had also crushed a home-run for the Dawgs tonight going 2-6.

Troy Benko (Mesa Community College) was the starting pitcher tonight, pitching 4 innings and giving the Dawgs a strong start not allowing a single run. Benko nailed 5 strikeouts in the game and ended with an ERA of 0.00

The Dawgs secured their fourth consecutive win of the season. With this win the Dawgs currently stand 4-0 in the early season.

The Dawgs take on the Brooks Bombers once again in our next home game in Seaman Stadium Saturday, June 1st where we will be celebrating our Veterans Night in honor of those who served in our Canadian Armed Forces.

Gates open at Seaman Stadium at 5:30 and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
