The Okotoks Dawgs continue to strengthen their roster ahead of the 2026 campaign in the Western Canadian Baseball League, announcing the signing of three new players who will bring depth behind the plate and on the mound this summer.
Right-handed pitcher Korey Alston will join the Dawgs from Odessa College, adding another arm to Okotoks’ pitching staff. Alston brings junior college experience with a power pitcher profile that the Dawgs expect to contribute valuable innings during the summer.
Also joining the club is Christopher Wrench, a left-handed pitcher from the College of Southern Nevada. Wrench will be an impact LHP and will help bolster the Dawgs’ pitching depth.
Behind the plate, the Dawgs have added Jayden Lusk, a catcher from Vernon College. Lusk brings defensive leadership and is a proven hitter at the junior college level, providing the Dawgs with another reliable option to handle the pitching staff and contribute offensively.
With the additions of Alston, Wrench, and Lusk, the Dawgs continue to build a balanced roster as they gear up for the 2026 season and another run in the WCBL.
