The Dawgs secured another away game win Sunday June 2nd 2024 at the Sylvan Lake Gulls, with a final score of 10-7. Breaking the Gulls at-home-win streak early in the season. 

Benito Bonilla (Missouri State University) leads on the offensive side of play. After a stellar performance June 1st with a home run Bonilla continues to be a leader at the plate with another home run at today's game with 4 RBIs and 2 runs. Ricardo Sanchez (Lamar University), was another standout in today's line up on his third game with the Dawgs of the season, with 2 runs, and 1 RBI. Other players looking strong at the plate were Kadyn Williams with 2 RBI’s and Connor Crowson with 3 major hits.  

Todays starting pitcher, Zane Morrison (Campbellsville University) lead the Dawgs through 2 and a half innings with 3 strikeouts and an ERA of 7.71. Chase Tucker (College of Saint Rose) relieved Morrison in the 3rd inning and pitched 1 inning, keeping the game steady with an ERA of 2.70. Seth Thompson was the save pitcher and closed out the game leading the Dawgs to victory pitching with an overall of 4 strikeouts. 

After this second away game win of the season Dawgs rankings are 6-0 wins and losses. 

The H4 Gulls Stadium of Sylvan Lake had an attendance of 1516. 

The Dawgs look to bring the heat back home, with their next game on Tuesday June 4th against the Edmonton Prospects (2-5) at Seaman Stadium.
