Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Club is pleased to announce that RHP Ashton Luera (Oklahoma Wesleyan University, OK) has been named the Dawgs' 2024 Pitcher of the Year.

Luera is the first reliever in the Dawgs' history to be named the pitcher of the year. In 25 appearances during the regular season, Luera pitched 24.1 innings with a stingy 1.47 ERA while racking up 47 strikeouts, allowing only 13 hits. Luera continued his dominance during the championship run, appearing in 6 of the 9 games while pitching 10 innings with 18 strikeouts and 3 saves.
