Dawgs Sign Taylor, Ross & Stewart

The Okotoks Dawgs are excited to announce our three latest player signings. Please welcome Jace Taylor (RHP, LC State), Greg Ross (RHP, Emporia State) & Conner Stewart (C, San Diego City College) to your 2023 Okotoks Dawgs.

Jace Taylor – RHP, Lewis-Clark State College

Taylor comes from perennial NAIA powerhouse, Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. In 5 appearances for the Warriors so far in 2023, Taylor has pitched 8.2 innings while allowing 6 hits with 13 strikeouts to just 3 walks. Look for Taylor to have a major impact on the Dawgs’ pitching staff this summer.

Greg Ross – RHP, Emporia State University

Ross has been working out of the backend of the bullpen for the Hornets early on this season. So far, Ross has made 9 appearances with 4 saves in 23.2 innings of work with 33 strikeouts to just 11 walks and a 4.18 ERA. Look for Ross to add experience and depth to the backend of the bullpen for the Dawgs this summer.

Conner Stewart – Catcher, San Diego City College

Stewart is a big, physical catcher that will bring some thump to the Dawgs lineup. In 22 games played so far this season, Stewart is hitting .314 with 4 doubles, 1 home run and 15 RBI with 3 stolen bases.
