Okotoks Dawgs and Town of Okotoks Present Eagles Tribute Concert at Seaman Stadium
The Okotoks Dawgs, in partnership with the Town of Okotoks, are thrilled to announce a one night only evening of music at the iconic Seaman Stadium. On Saturday, August 31, the stadium will host it’s first-ever concert, featuring Eagle Eye, a renowned Eagles tribute band, along with a showcase of local artists including Dawgs anthem singer Brettyn Rose and the Back 40.
General Manager of the Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Club Tyler Hollick is excited, saying, “This concert is such a great opportunity to bring our community together and cap off another amazing Dawgs season with an evening of live entertainment. We are proud to host this concert in our beautiful space and look forward to seeing the fans and community members here at Seaman Stadium in August.”
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, August 31
Time: 5 to 11 p.m.
Location: Seaman Stadium, 256 Don Seaman Way, Okotoks, AB T1S 1A5
The evening features Eagle Eyes, a tribute to the legendary California country rock band. Hailing from Vancouver Island, these critically acclaimed musicians are considered to be one of the best Eagles tribute bands with precise vocal harmonies and service to the smallest of details in performing songs spanning the extensive Eagles’ Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame Career (including a few selections from Eagles’ solo careers).
Supporting the headliners will be a selection of local acts from the surrounding area. Including Brettyn Rose, a local country artist and anthem singer for the Okotoks Dawgs Baseball season. Also taking stage is The Back Forty. Taking inspiration from their roots in traditional rock, country, and blues, creating a sound that defies easy categorization. They formed the band in 2018, setting the stage for an innovative musical venture.
Tickets for the concert will be available for purchase Tuesday, May 28 at 5:00 p.m. MST at Seaman Stadium or online at www.tickets.dawgsbaseball.ca .Attendees are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to ensure a spot for this inaugural iconic Okotoks event.
