In back to back nights, the Okotoks Dawgs win 22-to-1 against the Edmonton Prospects. The Dawgs home, Seaman Stadium was packed with fans as they cheered on the Dawgs in their special Town Connect jerseys. 

The Dawgs now stand 13-for-1 in the Western Canadian Baseball League 2024 season, leaving the Prospects to sit at 3-for-11. Coming off a win streak, the Dawgs look forward to hosting the Fort McMurray Giants in the coming days. 

The Dawgs were out in full force offensively. Barry Eiseman (University of Montavello) is becoming a household name in Okotoks when it comes to Dawgs baseball. Tonight, Eiseman led the Dawgs with four hits, five RBI’s, and two runs. Newcomer, Jarrett Burney (Reinhardt University) has had two astounding back to back games, with five RBI’s tonight himself. Burney also had four hits and earned three runs for the Dawgs. Logan Grant (Chestermere, AB) was another standout in tonight's game as he earned four runs and three RBI’s. 

Starting pitcher, Troy Benko (Mesa Community College) pitched four innings and tossed five strikeouts. In total tonight the Dawgs pitched 12 strikeouts. With the final pitcher Seth Thompson (Calgary, AB) quickly shutting down any attempt made by the Prospects to score a run. 

The Dawgs continue on their six game stretch hosting the Fort McMurray Giants for the first time this season, tomorrow Saturday June 15, 2024. Gates to Seaman will open at 5:30p.m.
