Lethbridge, AB - The Okotoks Dawgs would unfortunately suffer their third loss of the season tonight to their ‘white whale’ of sorts in the form of the Lethbridge Bulls. The Dawgs would lose 6-3 against the Bulls tonight. The Dawgs now sit 18-3 on this still awe-inspiring season.
The Dawgs still kept it close tonight with some good placement on the sticks. Dawson Santana (Oregon State) would get a hard-hit double bringing in an RBI. Nash Crowell (Yarmouth, NS) and Aidan Rose (Calgary, AB) would also get RBIs tonight with Rose making his return to the Dawgs lineup.
Aaron Hammer (Campbellsville University) was strong on the mound tonight not allowing a single hit or run in his single inning of work. Brody Forno (Okotoks, AB), Zane Morrison (Campbellsville University), and Ashton Luera (Oklahoma Wesleyan University) would punch out a combined six in the 3.2 innings they tossed.
The Dawgs will be on the road tomorrow when they take on the Edmonton Prospects at Centennial Park. They will then return to beautiful Seaman Stadium Friday, June 28th where they will be facing the Medicine Hat Mavericks for our ‘Teacher’s Appreciation’ event.
