Regina, SK -  The Okotoks Dawgs faced the Regina Red Sox tonight for the second night. The Dawgs had a close battle with Regina all the way through but would fall short losing 8-7 after the Red Sox walked off in the ninth.

With this loss against the Red Sox, the Dawgs now sit 34-13 in the WCBL season thus far.

Tucker Zdunich (High River, AB) was an asset tonight after going yard in the third. Zdunich would have a good performance on the night, going 4-for-5 with two RBIs that included a bomb and a hard-hit double. Ricardo Sanchez (Lamar University) would also have a good night at the dish going 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Brock Townsend (Bellevue University) got the nod tonight and struggled surrendering five runs in his five innings of work. Despite this, Townsend would toss three scoreless innings one after the other keeping the Red Sox at bay. Zane Morrison (Campbellsville University) would also toss a scoreless inning tonight. Ashton Luera (Oklahoma Wesleyan University) attempted to take the game to extra innings but would not be able to after the Red Sox walked off in the ninth.

The Dawgs continue their road trip in the East Division when they take on the Saskatoon Berries for the first time, on Saturday, July 27th. The Dawgs will return to beautiful Seaman Stadium on Tuesday, July 30th to take on the Lethbridge Bulls.
