The Okotoks Dawgs lose to the Saskatoon Berries, ending their tour of Saskatchewan. The final score of the day was five-two for The Berries. This loss sets the Dawgs record to 35-14 in the Western Canadian Baseball League 2024 season, and the Saskatoon Berries improve to 26-23.

Jason Arriola (Colorado State University Pueblo) was a standout player today, going two-for-four and earning a run for the Dawgs. Spencer Sullivan (Linn-Benton Community College) earned the only other run against the Berries. Brendan Luther (Mississauga, ON) and Jarrett Burney (Reinhardt University) each had one RBI during today’s game.

Brody Forno (Okotoks, AB) got the nod tonight and pitched three and a quarter innings. Chase Tucker (College of Saint Rose), Ryan McFarland (Calgary, AB), Trey Macwood (Okotoks, AB) and Easton Corey (Linn-Benton Community College) each threw scoreless innings.

After their week away in Saskatchewan, The Dawgs will return to beautiful Seaman Stadium on Tuesday, July 30th to take on the Lethbridge Bulls.
