Okotoks Dawgs begin their 2024 playoffs with a best of 3 series against southern rivals, the Lethbridge Bulls. The Dawgs are back to back WCBL Champions capturing league honors in 2022 and 2023. Playoff games are scheduled as follows:

Game 1: Wednesday, August 7 at 7:05 PM at Seaman Stadium, Okotoks, Lethbridge vs Dawgs

Game 2: Thursday, August 8 at 7:05 PM at Spitz Stadium, Lethbridge, Dawgs vs Lethbridge

Game 3 (if necessary): Friday, August 9 at 7:05 PM at Seaman Stadium, Okotoks, Lethbridge vs Dawgs

The Dawgs played their last regular season home game on Sunday, August 4th with a 5-1 win over their rival Bulls at the annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser game at Seaman Stadium while raising over $44,000 for Breast Cancer Research.

The Dawgs travel to Lethbridge on Monday, August 5th for the final game of the regular season where they currently sit 41-14 to Lethbridge’s 36-19 before the playoffs start on Wednesday, August 7th where the two teams will meet in the first round of the WCBL Playoffs at Seaman Stadium.

Dawgs are led offensively by Jarrett Burney (Reinhardt University, GA) who batted .455 with 8 doubles and 2 home runs, 2023 WCBL Playoff MVP, Brendan Luther (Bellevue, NEB) who contributed 3 home runs with 14 doubles and local standout, Connor Crowson who chipped in with a team leading 9 home runs, 55 RBIs and a -383 average.

On the mound, Dawgs are led by veteran left-hander, Graham Brunner (Emporia State University, KS) who posted a 4-0 record with 33 strikeouts, Brock Townsend (Bellevue, NE) with a 5-1 record and a 2.66 ERA and a troop of outstanding relievers including closer, Ashton Luera (Oklahoma Wesleyan) with 47 strikeouts in just 24 innings of work and an ERA of 1.47, Gavin Wuschke (Bellevue, NEB) with a 1.42 ERA, and Easton Corey (Linn-Benton CC, ORE) with a 1.92 ERA.
