Lethbridge, AB -  The Okotoks Dawgs fell short to the Lethbridge Bulls 5-4 tonight in a close matchup that saw multiple tying plays. With this loss to the Bulls, the Dawgs are squared away at 1-1 against the Bulls in the postseason. The West Division Semifinals is headed to game three at beautiful Seaman Stadium where it is winner-take-all. 

The Dawgs lineup fought hard tonight placing eight hits in the loss. Tucker Zdunich had the best night offensively, going 2-for-4 with one RBI that included a stand-up double in the seventh. Brendan Luther (Mississauga, ON) also got multiple hits tonight, going 2-for-4 and a steal to home in the first. 

Garrett Maloney (Campbellsville University) got the nod tonight in game two and struggled a bit, but would pitch two scoreless innings in the second and fourth. Cade Herrmann (Bellevue University) relieved Greg Ross (Sarnia, ON) in the sixth and struck out two, leaving the Bulls stranded. Finally, Aaron Hammer (Campbellsville University) stepped in and tossed a scoreless inning to end the eighth.

The Dawgs return to beautiful Seaman Stadium for a winner-takes-all game three against the Lethbridge Bulls on Friday, August 9th.
