The Okotoks Dawgs secured the game three victory against the Lethbridge Bulls 4-3 after going into extra innings and finishing with a walk-off in the 13th inning. With this win against the Bulls, the Dawgs move on to the West Division Finals where they will take on the Sylvan Lake Gulls.

Logan Grant (Chestermere, AB) was an offensive leader tonight, going 2-for-5 including a two-RBI single in the first which gave the Dawgs the lead. Connor Crowson (Okotoks, AB) got multiple hits tonight as well going 3-for-6. Brendan Luther (Mississauga, ON) had a good showing at the dish also, going 2-for-5 with a stolen base. Finally, Ricardo Sanchez (Lamar University) secured the win tonight with a walk-off RBI bunt which brought in the pinch runner at third, Leo Griffin (Okotoks, AB). Ricky went 2-for-6 with an RBI. 

Brock Townsend (Bellevue University) got the nod tonight and excelled. Townsend tossed five scoreless innings out of six innings pitched in the win. Ashton Luera (Oklahoma Wesleyan University) stepped in to close the game and carried the Dawgs through extra innings where he tossed five innings all scoreless while striking out nine and only allowing two hits. 

The Dawgs head on the road for game one of the West Division Finals against the Sylvan Lake Gulls on Sunday, August 11th. The Dawgs return to beautiful Seaman Stadium for game two against Sylvan Lake on Monday, August 12th.
