Okotoks, AB -  The Okotoks Dawgs have officially won their third consecutive WCBL championship for the second time in franchise history. The Dawgs defeated the Moose Jaw Miller Express 6-5 in front of 6,342 fans in game three of the WCBL Championship Series after a walk-off home run to win the game from the hometown hero, Connor Crowson (Okotoks, AB).

Tucker Zdunich (High River, AB) was an offensive leader tonight, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs including a hard-hit double. Ricky Sanchez (Lamar University) was a top performer throughout the postseason. Sanchez went 2-for-4 tonight, recording hits in eight of the nine playoff games. The player with the highest batting average in the regular season, Jarrett Burney (Reinhardt University) went 2-for-4 tonight with an RBI. Finally, Okotoks native Connor Crowson hit the game-winning ball with a solo shot in the ninth in front of a buzzing Seaman Stadium.

Graham Brunner (Sherwood Park, AB) got the nod for his last time as a Dawg tonight and performed well. Brunner tossed four straight scoreless innings, striking out seven. Garrett Maloney (Campbellsville University) and Zane Morrison (Campbellsville University) both stepped in and tossed scoreless innings. Cade Herrmann (Bellevue University) came in to relieve in the seventh and punched out the final batter leaving the bases loaded. Finally, Easton Corey (Linn-Benton CC) closed the game striking out two in his 1 ⅔ innings pitched. 

The Dawgs will return to beautiful Seaman Stadium for the 2025 WCBL season where they will be looking to win their fourth consecutive WCBL Championship.
