The Dawgs are thrilled to announce 3 key members from the 2024 WCBL 3-peat championship team will be returning to make a run at 4 straight championships.

Welcome back Connor Crowson (University of Montevallo), Ricardo Sanchez (Pitt State University) and Ashton Luera (Oklahoma Wesleyan University).

Connnor Crowson, a native of Okotoks and homegrown Dawgs Academy product, was the hero in 2024 as he hit a walk-off home run to complete the 3-peat. During the regular season in 2024, Crowson hit .383 with 14 doubles, 1 triple and 9 home runs while tallying 55 RBI.

Ricardo Sanchez, a product of the Dawgs Academy, has been a Swiss army knife defensively and a table setter for the Dawgs since 2019. During the regular season in 2024, Sanchez hit .320 with 6 doubles and 1 home run while collecting 15 RBI and scoring 24 runs in just 28 games played.

Ashton Luera was lights out in 2024 as the Dawgs closer. During the regular season, Luera made 25 appearances with 24.1 innings pitched to the tune of a 1.47 ERA while striking out an impressive 47 batters.
