The Dawgs fell to the Medicine Hat Mavericks tonight in a heartbreaking one-run loss. Despite the loss, the Dawgs' offence was hot with a total of twelve hits on the night. Kadyn Williams (Pittsburgh State University) led the charge, going 3 for 5 on the evening with one RBI and one run scored. Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University) continues to play a key role in the Dawgs’ offence as he went 1 for 3 with a monstrous home run.

On the mound tonight, Seth Gurr (University of Montevallo) started things off for the Dawgs, going a total of 6.0 innings pitched, where he was able to hold the Mavericks scoreless through four. Gurr ended the night with five strikeouts to his name before the Dawgs called to the Bullpen, beginning with an appearance from Trey Mackwood (Panola State Community College). Mackwood kept the Mavericks at bay, pitching 1.0 inning, allowing zero hits. Frank Flores (Colorado State University - Pueblo) closed out the night for the Dawgs, only allowing one hit and zero runs.
