Dawgs Defeat the Giants

The Dawgs take down the Giants in dramatic fashion tonight here at Seaman Stadium. The win can be attributed to an explosive seventh inning from the Dawgs, where they scored a total of 6 runs. This was a team win, as it included key performances from a multitude of players. The win tonight goes to Frank Flores (Colorado State University - Pueblo), with the save going to his teammate Alex Oliver (Colorado State University - Pueblo)
Offensively, there were plenty of highlights from the Dawgs, especially late in the game. Barry Eiseman (Reinhardt University) was an absolute standout tonight as he went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s, 2 walks, and 1 run scored. Connor Crowson (University of Montevallo) also had a great night, going 2 for 4 with 1 RBI and 1 walk. Steve Elsner also contributed to the Dawgs' win, going 2 for 4 as well. Another key piece in tonight's win would be Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University), who went 2 for 5 with 2 RBI and 1 run scored. On the bump tonight it was a full staff effort with appearances from Brady Baltus (New Mexico State University), Josh Mills (Okotoks Dawgs Academy), Chase Tucker (Campbellsville University), Nate Charlton (Mt. Hood Community College), Frank Flores (Colorado State University - Pueblo), and closer Alex Oliver (Colorado State University - Pueblo).
