The Dawgs explode over the visiting Brooks Bombers tonight at Seaman Stadium in a dominant performance on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the Dawgs overpowered the Bombers with 11 hits, 3 home runs, and 9 runs scored. From the bump, the Dawgs' pitching staff only allowed two runs and held the Bombers scoreless through 8 innings.

Brady Baltus (New Mexico State University) got the start for the Dawgs tonight, and he went 5 innings, recording a whooping 6 strikeouts! Following Baltus, it was a complete staff effort from the bullpen, including appearances from Ryan McFarland (Campbellsville University), Anderson Tordiffe (Clackamas Community College), Trey Mackwood (Panola State College), and Dominic Wade (Ellsworth Community College). Collectively, the staff recorded 12 strikeouts and only allowed 6 hits.

The Dawgs' bats were on fire tonight with standout performances from multiple players. Jake Skaggs (Pittsburg State University) had a phenomenal night going 2 for 3, with 2 walks, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI, and a massive home run! In almost identical fashion, Kadyn Williams (Pittsburg State University) also had a great night at the plate, going 2 for 3, with 2 walks, and 2 runs scored. Connor Crowson (University of Montevallo) was also a strong presence at the plate today, going 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored. And last but certainly not least would be the catcher Jason Arriola (Colorado State University - Pueblo). Arriola was a difference maker tonight for the Dawgs, recording 3 RBIs, in addition to going 1 for 2 with 2 walks.

Following tonight's win the Dawgs hit the road to Lethbridge to face the Bulls Thursday June 26th, then return home for a weekend series against the Weyburn Beavers.
