Dawgs Defeat the Bulls to Make it Four in a Row

The Dawgs snag another one this afternoon in Lethbridge to extend their current winning streak to four in a row and put them at 18-8 on the season! This win separates the Dawgs further at the peak of the West standings, making a dramatic statement about how strong this program truly is. The Dawgs had a phenomenal week at the plate, racking up 74 runs in the last 7 days.
The Dawgs' offence has been absolutely unstoppable as of late, racking up a total of 74 runs on the week! A seemingly familiar name amongst the top performers would be Zane Skansi, who continued his hot streak today, going 3 for 5 with 4 RBIs and 2 runs scored, including a monstrous 2-run home run in the top of the 9th. Nash Crowell (Reinhardt University) also had a great day, going 3 for 6 and accumulating 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored.
Cameron Williams (Bossier Parish Community College) got the start on the mound for the Dawgs this afternoon, throwing a total of 5.0 innings, striking out 2 and allowing 0 earned runs. Following Williams, we saw appearances from Brody Forno (Oklahoma Wesleyan University), Trey Mackwood (Panola State Community College), Chase Tucker (Campbellsville University), Jaden Bahl (Bossier Parish University), and closer Alex Oliver (Colorado State University - Pueblo). The two Cavalier teammates, Williams and Bahl, worked flawlessly together today, combining for 3 strikeouts, 0 earned runs, and only 1 hit.
