Dawgs Victorious Against the Bombers

The Dawgs are back in the Win column following tonight's victory against the Brooks Bombers that ended in a show-stopping triple play! Seth Gurr (University of Montevallo), who has been a familiar face here at Seaman Stadium on Saturdays, had another excellent outing for the Dawgs, propelling them to a 21-10 record and earning his 3rd win of the season! Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University) hit his 7th home run of the season tonight to pad the Dawgs' lead as well!
Offensively tonight, Nash Crowell (Reinhardt University) was a consistent force for the Dawgs, going 3 for 4 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. As previously mentioned, Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University) hit his 7th bomb of the season, but he also went 2 for 4. Kadyn Williams (Pittsburg State University) had another great night at the plate as well, going 2 for 4! The Dawgs hope to continue their offensive dominance going into tomorrow!
Another great start from Seth Gurr (University of Montevallo) as he went 6.2 innings, striking out 5. Trey Mackwood (Panola State Community College) came in to relieve Gurr, followed by Alex Oliver (Colorado State University - Pueblo), and Easton Corey (Linn-Benton Community College). Collectively, the staff only allowed 6 hits and held the Bombers to 1 run.
