The Dawgs continue on their early season winning streak against Brooks Bombers with 11-6
Standout players of the game include Ricky Snachez who played his first home game for the Dawgs this season. Sanchez (Lamar University) had an outstanding performance with 3 hits, 1 homerun and 4 RBIs. Benito Bonilla (Dawgs Academy) also had an amazing night, with 2 homeruns, and 3 RBIs.
Garrett Maloney (Henderson, Nevada) was the starting pitcher of the night. Maloney pitched 4 innings with 6 strike outs and an ERA of 5.14.
Seaman Stadium was packed with 5513 fans showing up to support the Dawgs and take part in Veterans night. Before the game the Dawgs and fans honored our brave veterans with a Flag parade by the Okotoks Legion. In addition, the Calgary Wranglers hockey team showed their sportsmanship for the Dawgs as goaltender Oscar Dansk threw the first pitch.
