Okotoks, AB - The Okotoks Dawgs pick up another big win against the Brooks Bombers at Seaman Stadium during our $10 ticket night in front of 4,321 roaring Dawgs fans. The Dawgs came out on top after back-to-back home runs finishing the game with an 11-4 victory in their fifth clash against the Bombers. With this win the Dawgs extended the season record to 11-1.

The Dawgs lineup was on the sticks tonight with 14 hits in 8 innings of work. Multiple Dawgs players would go yard tonight, led by Nash Crowell (Reinhardt University). Nash Bash would go 2-for-3 tonight crushing his first home run of the season. Nash would then lead by example as Barry Eiseman (University of Montevallo) would go deep within the same inning with a three-run home run marking Eiseman’s first of the season as well. Tucker Zdunich (High River, AB) would be the third player of the night to crush a home run, going 2-for-5. Kadyn Williams (Emporia State) and Spencer Sullivan (Linn-Benton) would gain two RBIs off base-hits tonight contributing to the Dawg's early lead. 

Ryan McFarland (Calgary, AB), Ashton Luera (Oklahoma Wesleyan University), and Greg Ross (Emporia State) would all pitch scoreless innings tonight, with McFarland and Luera striking out a combined 5 in 2 innings of work. Tonight’s victory also marked the first win of the season for LHP William Fife (Mesa Community College) who would throw 3.2 innings. 

The Dawgs will be at beautiful Seaman Stadium tomorrow June 13, 2024, when we take on the Edmonton Prospects. The roles will be switched this Thursday, as the Prospects will be the home team going into this next game.
