Dawgs' Offence Overpowers the Bombers
July 26, 2025
Final Score: Dawgs 17, Bombers 2
It was an exciting night at Seaman Stadium for our Easymax Teddy Bear Toss, as the Dawgs dominated the Bombers with a resounding 17-2 victory. Standout performers included starting pitcher Jace Wessels (Bellevue University) and offensive powerhouse Logan Grant (Bellevue University). Despite some rain, we still had a phenomenal turnout with over 5000 fans in attendance to support such a meaningful cause.
Starting for the Dawgs was Jace Wessels (Bellevue University), who pitched a remarkable 5.0 innings, allowing no hits or runs while striking out 4 batters. Another impressive arm was Easton Corey (Linn Benton Community College), who threw a complete inning, striking out 2. Three other Dawgs also made appearances and contributed significantly to this incredible win.
Offensively, the Dawgs put on a show with outstanding performances from several fan favourites. Logan Grant (Bellevue University) had an impressive night, going 3 for 5 with 4 RBIs, scoring 3 runs, and hitting a massive 3-run home run. Connor Crowson (Tennessee Tech University) also had a strong performance, going 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored. Barry Eiseman (Reinhardt University) went 2 for 3 with a key contribution, 1 RBI, and 1 run scored. Last but not least, Kadyn Williams (Pittsburg State University) went 1 for 3, driving in 2 RBIs and scoring 1 run.
Following tonight's significant win, the Dawgs will play again at home tomorrow, Sunday, July 27, against the visiting Lethbridge Bulls. Additionally, tomorrow is our Breast Cancer Awareness game.
