The Dawgs would battle through the rain tonight and hold on to a close win over the Fort McMurray Giants winning 8-5. The Dawgs would record 9 hits in the game while the Dawgs pitching would strikeout 11 Giants hitters. The Dawgs move to 36-12 on the season and are 2 games up on the Sylvan Lake Gulls with 8 games left in the regular season.

Nash Crowell (Reinhardt University, GA) would launch his 10th home-run in the 5th inning, and would finish the night 1 for 2 with 3 RBI. Cole Cramer (Washington State University, WA) would record his 21st RBI on the season in the 3rd inning. Noah Geekie (Emporia State University, KS) would have 2 RBI tonight in the win going 2 for 3. Ricky Sanchez (Barton College, KS) extended his hitting streak to 5-games and recorded his 18th RBI on the season going 1 for 3 tonight in the win.

Gavin Wuschke (Okanagan College) would toss 5 innings for the Dawgs allowing 4 runs on 5 hits while striking out 4.
