A few Dawgs grads who fans will remember are having phenomenal, break out, college seasons. Leading the way are former Dawgs, Micah McDowell and Mason Guerra playing at #2 ranked, Oregon State and Max Hartman and Jacob Morrow at up-and-coming PAC 12 powerhouse, Washington State. 

Currently, Academy and summer collegiate Dawg, McDowell is batting .446 with 8 doubles and 3 HRs and is considered one of, if not the top, Canadian pro prospect leading up to the 2024 amateur draft of Major League Baseball. Meanwhile, Guerra who also suited up for the summer collegiate Dawgs, is also having a stellar season batting .316 with 6 homers and 29 RBIs. 

A bit further north in Pullman, Washington, a couple of Dawgs are having outstanding seasons leading the Cougars to a strong PAC 12 charge. Dawgs Academy grad, Hartman is currently leading off for the Cougars and batting .346 with 8 doubles, 3 home runs and a team leading 9 stolen bases. Hartman’s younger brother, Eric, is among the stars in the Dawgs Academy and along with several other Dawgs Academy standouts, was recently selected to Canada’s Junior National Team. Look for a Hartman or two to suit up for the Dawgs in the 2024 summer college season. Also, at WSU and having a breakout year, is former Dawgs backstop, Jacob Morrow. In addition to providing the Cougars with outstanding defence behind the dish, Morrow is batting .338 with 3 home runs.
