Dear Dawgs Fans
What a phenomenal season! The Dawgs set out to “Repeat the 3-PEAT” and our boys of summer did it!
And on a 9th inning, winner take all, “walk off”, game winning, home run by a home grown, Okotoks and Dawgs Academy graduate. Talk about a Hollywood ending. It just does not get better than that.
Now that our heart rates have normalized, I just wanted to reach out to our fans and sponsors on behalf of our entire Dawgs family and THANK YOU for helping make 2024 the greatest season of Dawgs Baseball ever! Consider all the excitement that we shared this past year:
• Dawgs “Repeat the 3-PEAT” as WCBL Champions!
• Dawgs win 48 games in regular season and playoffs, 2nd only in WCBL history to the 2022 Dawgs who hold the league record with 49 wins!
• Dawgs home grown product, Conner Crowson, wins 2024 WCBL Playoff MVP for a truly historic home run!
• Seaman Stadium has been recognized as the “Best Ballpark” in summer college baseball by Ballpark Digest!
• Dawgs average 4774 fans per game in the regular season. A new Dawgs and WCBL record!
• Dawgs attract an amazing 24,665 fans to 5 WCBL playoff games.
• Dawgs entertain over capacity crowds of 5500+ fans for each of the WCBL All-star Game, Canada Day, Father’s Day & the 2024 Championship Game!
None of those extraordinary achievements would have been possible without your ongoing phenomenal support. We are proud to recognize that Dawgs Baseball at Seaman Stadium has become a national and international baseball phenomenon. And the Dawgs remain committed to repaying your loyalty and support by continuing to provide the very best in positive, healthy, summer, family friendly entertainment.
To enhance your enjoyment this past season, we celebrated an expanded Anthem Hospitality Patio. We added new pergolas and a new seating section. We offered our supporters an iconic field level suite immediately adjacent to the Dawgs home dugout. And to further engage our fans and elevate the gameday experience, we added a new, 60-foot, high definition, ribbon videoboard.
So just as the 2024 season of Dawgs Baseball was truly historic on so many levels, I promise you that our Dawgs team is already working to make 2025 even better. Dawgs fans deserve it. Go Dawgs!!!
