The Okotoks Dawgs are pleased to announce their first 3 signings for the 2026 season ahead, adding three familiar faces and significant offensive firepower, with the return of Connor Crowson (Tennessee Tech University), Ricardo Sanchez (Gonzaga University) and Nash Crowell (Tennessee Tech University).
Crowson returns for his 5th season after a standout campaign in 2025, in which he played 47 games and posted a remarkable .401 batting average. The versatile hitter collected 13 doubles, three triples and three home runs, while driving in 45 runs and scoring 51 times, making him one of the most productive bats in the league.
Sanchez brings offensive consistency and lockdown defense up the middle of the field. In 2025, Sanchez played in 37 games, hitting .331. He recorded seven doubles and one home run, drove in 24 runs and crossed the plate 38 times, providing a steady presence as a table setter at the top of the lineup.
Crowell adds significant power potential to the Dawgs’ offense. In 38 games, he hit .299 with six doubles, one triple and seven home runs. He also totalled 33 RBIs and scored 21 runs, giving Okotoks another proven run producer.
With the trio returning for 2026, the Dawgs have a solid foundation built for their lineup with a blend of average, power and run production as they look to bring another WCBL Championship to Okotoks.
