Home/news/Dawgs Drop Home Matchup to Miller Express
Saturday, June 20 2026 / Published in

Following a strong offensive start, the Okotoks Dawgs were unable to overcome the Moose Jaw Miller Express, losing 17-10 Saturday night at Seaman Stadium. Five thousand seven hundred and fifty one fans packed the stadium for the Dawgs’ Viva Mexico Celebration, supporting the home team until the final out.

Despite the final score, the Dawgs generated offence throughout the night. Ayden Crouse (Indiana University) paced Okotoks at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three doubles, four RBIs, one run scored, a stolen base, and a walk. Jacob Wrubleski (Gonzaga University) and Nash Crowell (Tennessee Tech University) added to the attack with a home run apiece.

Okotoks will aim to bounce back and get back on track tomorrow afternoon when they face the Moose Jaw Miller Express in a rematch at 2:05 p.m. at Seaman Stadium.
