Okotoks, AB – The Okotoks Dawgs kept rolling on the road Thursday, June 25, defeating the Fort McMurray Giants 13–1 at Legacy Dodge Field. The Dawgs strung together 12 hits over eight innings, while clean defence and strong pitching helped secure another victory.

Offensively, the Dawgs were led by Jacob Wrubleski (Gonzaga University), who went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, four RBIs, and two runs scored. Cal Gates (Indiana University) went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBIs, while Nash Crowell (Tennessee Tech University) contributed two doubles, two runs, and two RBIs.

Reid Madriaga (Bellevue University) set the tone on the mound, tossing five strong innings while allowing just one run and striking out four. Ty Johnson (Ottawa University Arizona), Turner Zdunich (Colby Community College), and Ryan Stone (Seattle University) combined to keep the Giants off the board, closing out the game with scoreless relief appearances.

The Dawgs will look to continue their momentum on the road with two more games against the Giants and a matchup against the Energy City Cactus Rats before returning home for the highly anticipated Canada Day game at Seaman Stadium.
