The Okotoks Dawgs picked up another win Friday Night at Seaman Stadium, overcoming the Fort McMurray Giants 12-9. A crowd of 5,433 fans filled the park for the Dawgs' first-ever Karaoke Night, with guest singers taking the mic throughout the game.

Sparking the Dawgs' offense was Jacob Wrubleski (Gonzaga University), who went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in the first inning. Connor Crowson (Tennessee Tech University), Nash Crowell (Tennessee Tech University), and Lachlan Maude (University of New Mexico) also turned in productive performances, combining to score 10 runs in the victory.

Evan Lehnert (Linn-Benton Community College) got the start, throwing three innings and striking out three. Lincoln Berg (Lower Columbia College), Wyatt Sadlier (North Central Community College), Ryan Stone (Seattle University), Max McCraray (University of Houston), and Brody Burnett (Bellevue University) took over in relief, combining for a strong bullpen performance to keep the opposition in check.

The Dawgs will aim to keep the momentum rolling in their next road game Saturday Night against the Lethbridge Bulls, before returning back home to face the Bulls once again on July 5 at 2:05 p.m. Next up at Seaman Stadium is Superhero Sunday, an action-packed afternoon the whole family won't want to miss.
