The Okotoks Dawgs continued their Saskatchewan road trip with a 7-3 victory over the Weyburn Beavers on Friday, July 10, at Tom Laing Park. Strong pitching and timely offence helped the Dawgs secure their third win of the road trip.

Brody Forno (Campbellsville University) controlled the game from the mound with an outstanding performance, striking out 13 while allowing just one run on four hits over seven innings. Brody Barnett (Bellevue University) closed out the game with 1.1 scoreless innings of relief, striking out four while allowing just one hit.

Cal Gates (Indiana University) led the Dawgs’ offence, going 2-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored. Emmet Stacher (Linn-Benton Community College) and Turner Zdunich (Colby Community College) added key contributions, each recording two hits, including timely doubles late in the game to help secure the Dawgs’ victory.
