On Saturday, July 15th the Dawgs will host the 2023 WCBL All Star Game. Top players from all of the 13 clubs in the league will descend on Seaman Stadium in Okotoks to showcase the best of the west in summer collegiate talent. 2023 marks the second consecutive year the Dawgs will host the prestigious event as over 6000 fans enjoyed a full day of baseball and family fun activities in 2022. The All Star Game includes a full afternoon and evening of fun family activities. Some of the highlights of the baseball extravaganza include:
- Home Run Derby featuring the WCBL’s top sluggers & local Little Leaguers at 5 PM
- Musical Entertainment starting at 3:30 PM
- Pre-Game Show on the Calgary Connect Concourse at 5 PM
- Autographs Signings with Canadian baseball Hall of Famers, Matt Stairs & Bob Elliott
- Dawgs Beach Bar on the Anthem Hospitality Patio
- Golden Sombrero Cantina on the Fortis Family Patio
